Herbal Steam Treatment
Step one: Place a pot of water on the stove and heat until boiling point.
Step two: While water is heating up, cleanse your skin with an all-natural skin cleanser. We suggest Osea Ocean Cleanser for normal to dry skin or Osea Ocean Cleansing Mudd for oily skin types. Cleanse with a modest amount of friction in circular motions for 20-30 seconds.
Step three: Remove boiling water from the stove and infuse with loose herbal tea or herbal tea bags. We suggest chamomile for dry skin, peppermint for oily skin, or any herbal tea that you happen to enjoy. Also try combinations.
Step four: Being careful not to burn yourself on the hot pot, place your face over the rising steam with a towel covering your head to trap in the steam.
Step five: Under towel, with clean hands, apply pressure to both sides of bridge of nose. Take deep inhalations of the vapors through the nose and slowly exhale through the mouth, preferably on an audible "ah" sound. Try to concentrate on nothing but your breathing. (It helps if you're alone for this!) Continue as long as comfortable or until steam subsides.
Step six: Gently pat face dry with a clean towel.
Step seven: Refresh face with refrigerated Osea Sea Minerals or a spray bottle mist of cold water.
Step eight: If available, complete treatment with the Osea Skin Essentials and Moisturizer suitable for your skin type.
